Feature Week: Dave Coote

Dave Coote is a both a furniture designer and interior designer who focuses on reclaimed materials and the existing architectural beauty of a space. His style is vintage and crisp...perfect for transitioning from summer to fall.  He also runs Pale & Interesting, an online homeware store, as well as The Beach Studios, unique locations for photoshoots.  You're bound to love his clean, fresh style.

New Post Theme: Lunchtime Links

Watch out Heather Dinich, here comes Lunchtime Links with a design flair!  So my fiance is always reading blog posts...not on my blog, but on the ACC Sports Blog.  Heather writes sports articles on the latest games and player updates, and has a great theme entitled Lunchtime Links.  My fiance told me about this link idea, so I decided to borrow it and tweak it a little to make it more design-oriented than sports-oriented.  Once or twice a week I'll feature a special lunchtime post in addition to the day's regular post.  It will feature a few links to browse through over lunch, featuring designers, interiors, shopping, and other blogs that I like to look at.  Hope you enjoy this edition of Lunchtime Links!

Feature Week: Kate's Paperie

Kristi told me about a beautiful little paper boutique called Kate's Paperie.  You can shop online, or they have locations in New York and Connecticut.  You can shop by occasion, brand, or category of product.  I love their colorful and eclectic mix of items, as well as their eco-friendly products.

Feature Week: Ritzy Bee Blog

Sorry Feature Week has been slightly delayed!  Between studio projects and computer hiccups this semester has been more stressful than planned.  Today's feature, however, will bring a refreshing break to this hectic week.  Jessica told me about the Ritzy Bee Blog, a fun wedding inspiration blog created by event designers Maria and Kelly.  I especially love their "Details We're Loving" and "Vintage Wednesday" posts.  Check it out and see for yourself!

This week I'll be featuring a few of my newly found favorite blogs & websites.  Today's feature site is Mary Ruffle's Tumblr page, a collection of inspiring and mood-evoking images.  I get lost in this fabulous site...clicking on links of images that I love and exploring all new blog links.  This is a perfect image collection when you're running short on inspiration.

Room of the Week

As soon as I saw this airy, light-filled space, I fell in love.  I usually don't go for bold, rich colors...but the combined patterns and textures in this room are so eye-catching.  This space has a bohemian feel while still being fall-ish and casual.
