Craving Warmer Weather

Photos like these make me want to break out the shorts and tank tops and soak up the sun.  Today was unusually warm but the scattered showers made it hard to fully enjoy it.  I hope wherever this post finds you is filled with sunshine and productivity, and perhaps a little relaxation too.  Hope you all are having a great week so far:)

Image Board {Bringin' in Spring}

Oh how I am ready for budding trees, sunnier days, and warmer temperatures.  I think this collection of images brings to mind the smell of rain and blossoming petals with its blush tones and flowing fabric details.

Room of the Week

This breezy space is the perfect inspiration for our sustainable resort project in studio.  The neutral colors allow the place, cuisine, and visitors to take center stage.  The gauzy textures pair well with the masculine woods.  This resort is even located in Mauritius, and is part of the Flamant Hotel chain.  Check out more images of Hotel 20ยบ Sud for more airy, light inspiration.

Valentine's Day Flowers for You

For all of us gals who didn't get flowers today, or even for those of you that did, here are some pretty petals to share with you.  I wish I could give someone flowers everyday, even if it was a single daisy, just to brighten their spirits a bit.  And how pretty would your home be if you had fresh flowers everyday?

Room of the Week {Birthday Wish}

I thought this room, or should I say closet, would be the perfect space to share with you on my birthday.  I'll close my eyes, blow out the candles, and wish for all these shoes, the large storage baskets, and of course the cat too!

Favorite. Engagement. Sesh. Ever.

I discovered this to-die-for engagement session by Sheena Jibson Photography on Ruffled.  There is something about it that is so intimate, summery, and quiet that reminds me of The Notebook.  I just had to share it with you...

Stuck in Colder Weather

Navy, camel, and cognac are three colors I'm craving for this cold weather season.  A little fashion inspiration and lyric appreciation to get you through the day.

"When I close my eyes I see you
No matter where I am
I can smell your perfume through these whispering pines.
I'm with your ghost again
It's a shame about the weather,
I know soon we'll be together
And I can't wait til then.
I can't wait til then."

Lyrics from Stuck in Colder Weather, by Zac Brown Band

Image Board: Rustic Lodge

Cozy throws and candlelight would be the perfect details for a reception in an old camping lodge.  Dark rich woods and chocolate cake are the finishing touches for this rustic image board.

Image Board: Nautical & Nice

This week's series of image boards continues today with a fresh, summer-inspired collection.  It makes me crave the rough feeling of a wet dock beneath my feet.
