Room of the Week

Sorry for having to do this to all the regular readers out there, but I have to use the word 'crisp' once again to describe this room.  You guys probably get tired of me using that word to explain every interior but it is truly fitting for this space.  The crisp white against the rich navy are the perfect combination to make a statement in this dining room.  The artwork and fun chandelier give just the right amount of pop.

Palette: Picnics at Dusk

There always seem to be images saved into my blog folder that I don't necessarily have a use in mind for them already.  While looking through a few random finds, I noticed that they all have the same flavor, feel, and color palette.  So thanks to the trusty eye dropper tool on photoshop, I was able to pull out some of the regal hues from these photographs and compile a unique color palette.  Perhaps this will become a new weekly theme post on the blog...what do ya think?

Camel, Tan, and Beige Accessories

I love the idea of pairing a buttery, neutral bag with any outfit to spruce it up.  Whether its paired with a monochromatic palette or with a bright summery color, a tan accessory is a subtle compliment to any wardrobe.

Room of the Week

The exposed electrical cords and raw light bulbs look perfectly at home draping beneath the unfinished wooden ceiling.  I love the lighting underneath the bar and the chalkboard behind the booth tables.

Loving these Rustic Details

Lately I've really enjoyed just being back in my hometown, working on wedding plans, and spending time with family and friends.  A big part of the wedding decor will be injecting rustic details here and there.  I think these rustic, unfinished details reflect us as a couple and how our sense of hometown really makes us who we are.  Here are a few rustic details that I'm loving...
