Room of the Week

This week's room demonstrates how a neutral color palette can become a rich space simply by the use of texture and pattern. The built in cabinets that flank each side of the table incorporate storage while adding a dynamic geometric pattern to the space. The deeply-toned woods and floor-to-ceiling draperies ground the room. I love how the space seems asymmetrical at first, but features distinct symmetry with the two hanging pendants and the two light fixtures on the table.
